Richard Taylor | Co Founder

After reading History at the University of Oxford, Richard built a successful career across a number of different industries. He has worked at director level in a leading London law firm, as director of a professional football club, management consultant for a range of global brands and as project manager for international events. Whilst working across these various sectors, Richard spent a large proportion of his time hiring and managing, working largely with high achievers in high-growth environments. He is passionate about understanding people and what motivates them. His client network is exceptional and stretches across the UK and US, working with some of the world's largest companies, fastest scaling technology companies and most successful and prolific investors. His clients include tech unicorns with £bn valuations, series A-C backed tech firms across a range of areas, members of the Sunday Times Fast Track, the FT's Europe's fastest growing companies and leading management consultancies, Deloittes Fast50 and Fast500, as well as Fortune500 and Forbes Global 2000. In his spare time, Richard can be found watching too much sport (mainly lower league football, tennis and the NFL), volunteering for various charities with education at their centre and travelling the globe.

Chris Jones | Co Founder

Chris has worked across various industries over the last three decades, including Insurance, Finance, Sport and Technology. During this time he has trained, managed and hired talent. He has recruited and developed teams that have helped to build some of the UK's fastest-growing companies with a strong focus on sales and management functions, including a company that sold for over £80m. He is particularly interested in employee happiness and creating the conditions in which excellence can be achieved. As well as being passionate about high-growth companies, he believes in high retention, with some of the companies he has managed receiving national awards and recognition for employee satisfaction. His UK focus is on Head of Sales, VP/Sales Director and CRO/CCO, with well-funded tech startups and scaleups, from sizable Seed to Series C. He also works on a range of Marketing and Customer Success roles. His US focus is with well-funded tech startups and scaleups, from Seed to Series C, across various roles. In his spare time, Chris is on a mission to find the best flat white, while deciding which non-dairy milk he prefers. Also, thanks to his two young daughters, he has extensive knowledge of Disney Princesses. In a previous life, he also enjoyed watching a lot of live sport, although this appears to have been replaced by family trips out, which he wouldn't swap for the world.

In her spare time, Jamie can most likely be found sitting front row at a new musical, reading up on queer history and media, or working towards becoming an expert in vegetarian cooking.

She graduated from the University of Oxford with a BFA in Fine Art, where she spent most of her time doing extra curricular activities such as being Creative Director and Deputy Editor of the Isis Magazine, Oxford's arts and culture magazine, and rowing for her college boat club. After graduation, Suzanne worked at an award-winning education charity, where she paired talented tutors with disadvantaged school children and young people across the North of England. Now at TJP, she is keen to introduce bright and talented people to their next venture. Outside of work, Suzanne can be found running around London’s green spaces in preparation for her next half-marathon or perusing the walls of an art gallery.
